Greetings and Happy March!
I first want to send a heartfelt and sincere "thank you" to all of you wonderful people for supporting my song "So Close to God" in the recent contest; we were the only USA band represented in the final 10, thanks to your awesome voting! I am touched and inspired!
And now that we have all dug ourselves out of deep drifts of snow (at least for those of us in the Northeast of the US!), here comes March, with many exciting events, many of which are definitely Irish GREEN, and a little bit of Phillies RED down the road! Read on and you will see!
With a tinge of sadness I am announcing that this year we will not be performing the annual Michael S. Monaghan Concert at Archbishop Wood. We will be brainstorming other ideas for fundraising efforts, and your ideas are most welcome, especially if anyone would like to host an event. Donations are always welcome, and can be sent to: Archbishop Wood High School, RE: Michael S. Monaghan Scholarship, 655 York Road, Warminster, PA 18974.

Blessed and Be Happy
What Blessed and Happy is about...
This presentation is a wonderful alternative to introduce children and young adults to the concept of the Beatitudes in a very hands-on way. We've taken "Blessed and Happy," a song from Bill Monaghan's original musical, The Word: A Gospel Opera, and put together a package that will capture the attention of students from every age group. We will instruct our learners how to sign the eight teachings of Jesus found in the Gospel of Matthew (5:3-10) in basic American Sign Language along with teaching the song, both words and melody.

HOT TIP
If you think Bill and his band would be good to open for a more established act (at the Keswick Theatre or Sellersville Theater, for example) please let us know, or let the theater know directly...this would be a great way to get into some great venues. We have had great success with the Sellersville Theater, including our almost sold out St. Patrick's show of March 17, 2008!
