Happy Summer from Monaghan Music!
A dream come true for Bill Monaghan, Carl Lichtner, Christine Favorite, and Shannon McMullen!
What an incredible day to celebrate my 40th birthday: a Building a Bridge to Uganda fundraiser and singing the National Anthem for my country and my favorite baseball team, The Fightin' Phillies with three of my bestest friends and my family and friends cheering from all corners of Citizens Bank Park! WOW, WOW, WOW! So, thanks to everyone who was there - the energy you created was electric and I definitely felt it - I know we all did. I hope we get to do this again! Blessed and Be Happy
What Blessed and Happy is about...
This presentation is a wonderful alternative to introduce children and young adults to the concept of the Beatitudes in a very hands-on way. We've taken "Blessed and Happy," a song from Bill Monaghan's original musical, The Word: A Gospel Opera, and put together a package that will capture the attention of students from every age group. We will instruct our learners how to sign the eight teachings of Jesus found in the Gospel of Matthew (5:3-10) in basic American Sign Language along with teaching the song, both words and melody.

*This course is based on American Sign Language, it is NOT meant to be a substitute for learning ASL.

HOT TIP
If you think Bill and his band would be good to open for a more established act (at the Keswick Theatre or Sellersville Theater, for example) please let us know, or let the theater know directly...this would be a great way to get into some great venues. We have had great success with the Sellersville Theater, including our almost sold out St. Patrick's show of March 17, 2008!
